Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool here reads your file in the browser, converts it in memory and hands it back as a download. Nothing is transmitted, stored or logged — you can confirm it in your browser’s network inspector.
Can these tools create subtitles from a video?
No. They reformat a subtitle file you already have. Generating subtitles requires transcribing speech, which is what the Viten app does.
